The White Ghost Shivers

Local Austin favorites The White Ghost Shivers bring something of a punk rock sensibility to playing a rather old fashioned combination of 20s-era jazz and western swing. Which means they often cram a gazillion musicians on the tiny stages meant for 4 piece punk bands.

Mr. Lewis and the Funeral Five have a new album out

Local Austin band Mr. Lewis and The Funeral Five has finally put out their new album, titled Murder and the Art of Dance.

I've liked this band and their kind of vaguely caberet-ish rock sound for a long time. Here's a song:
