Local Austin favorites The White Ghost Shivers bring something of a punk rock sensibility to playing a rather old fashioned combination of 20s-era jazz and western swing. Awesome! They remind me a lot of Peterborough, Ontario-based band The Silver Hearts, only the Silver Hearts are more country + huge Tom Waits influence.
